Tip: “Gapping Method”
For those of you employing the “gapping method” of preparing a pull in place liner by cutting out holes where the branch lines tie in, then wetting it out and pulling or pushing it into place – here’s a cheaper and much faster method.
If you pull the wetted-out liner into place without cutting out the tie in points, you have an easy way to reinstate the openings. You can use our sandpaper devices attached to any of our Renssi machines or Renssi high-speed cables connected to your drill, and sand off the liner at each branch tie in. This provides a much better transition than the conventional gapping method plus preps the area for sealing the tie-in to the liner with our coating process if you are concerned with tracking.
